What's new on Online-Translator.com?
We recently conducted a survey to find out why so many users visit our website every day, what they liked and didn’t like, and what additional services they would like us to include. We have the results, read the feedback, and generally examined the data from all possible angles, and the end result is really not that surprising:

They translate international correspondence, technical and business documentation, news sites and overviews, Wikipedia articles and many other things.
Armed with this information, we decided to launch a new service that would make our users’ main task - translation - as simple and convenient as possible. So we created a new Online-Translator.com.
New interface and new functionality
Simple and advanced modes of text translation
Users can be divided in two groups: those who want everything to be simple and clear, and just want to get the translation they require at this particular moment, and those who want additional functionality and felxibility.
For the first group, we removed all the non-basic options from the main page, leaving only the translation form and a single button - “Translate”. Now there’s no need to hunt around for options or read long instructions: just go to the start page of the site and translate.
For the second group, we’ve incorporated as many additional functions as possible and combined them iinto a single, easy-to-use toolbar: 
New website translator
For those who frequently need to get information from websites in foreign languages, we have added a completely new website translator that allows users to get a fast translation of an entire page and at the same time switch between display modes to view either the source text or the translation result. So, for every translated text element, you can display its source text in a pop-up window, helping to give you a better understanding of the translated page contents.
New Help section
In the Help section, you can now find a detailed description of these and other new features.
@promt 8.0 translation kernel
This new version of the online translation service is based on @promt 8.0 translation modules implemented using new technologies that offer significant improvements over earlier versions.
For example, in the English-Russian translation direction, key improved aspects include:
- A way to use the dictionaries that allows the system to select the required translation variant for words with multiple translations.

Identification of proper names.

Improved translation into Russian, including changing the case of the subject in the translated text.
- Translation of the word “such” in various contexts.
- The formation of perfective/imperfective aspects and identification of the adverb position in a Russian sentence.
